Local Bar & Event Drink Packages

Ajay’s Bar is a professional mobile event bar service based in Accra, Ghana. We specialise in authentic Ghanaian local drinks — including sobolo, asaana, pito, brukina, and palm wine — alongside freshly squeezed juices and local snacks. We bring a fully set-up bar experience directly to your event, wherever it’s happening. From weddings and funerals to birthday parties and corporate events, we handle the drinks so you can focus on enjoying the celebration.

Our event packages start from GH₵ 40 per head, depending on the drinks, snacks, and finger foods included. Here’s a quick overview:

• Pop Culture — GH₵ 40/head (4 local drinks + 4 snacks)
• Curator’s Blend — GH₵ 45/head (2 local drinks + 2 fresh juices + 4 snacks)
• Vibe & Sip — GH₵ 50/head (4 local drinks + 2 fresh juices + 4 snacks)
• The Royal Cup — GH₵ 55/head (2 local drinks + 3 fresh juices + 3 snacks + 2 finger foods)
• Ajay’s Premium — GH₵ 65/head (4 fresh juices + 3 local drinks + 4 finger foods + 4 snacks)

A flat service charge of GH₵ 1,500 covers transportation, setup, and professional service at your venue. An optional luxury bar setup is available for an additional 10%.

We serve a wide selection of traditional Ghanaian beverages and freshly squeezed juices, including:

Local drinks: Sobolo, Asaana, Millet Drink, Pito, Brukina, and Palm Wine.

Fresh juices: Pine Ginger, Pine Melon, Mango Banana (in season), and our signature Tropical Cocktail.

Every drink is prepared using authentic recipes and quality local ingredients — no artificial flavours, no shortcuts.

Sobolo and asaana are two of Ghana’s most popular traditional drinks, but they are quite different. Sobolo is made from dried hibiscus leaves blended with ginger, spices, and fruit — it has a bold, tangy, ruby-red flavour and is naturally caffeine-free. Asaana, on the other hand, is a caramelised corn drink with a sweeter, malt-like taste and a rich brown colour. Both are non-alcoholic, deeply rooted in Ghanaian culture, and huge crowd-pleasers at events. We serve both at Ajay’s Bar.

We understand that plans can change. Here’s what you need to know: the 35% deposit paid to secure your event date is non-refundable, as it serves as compensation for holding that date exclusively for you. However, if new circumstances arise within 48 hours of making the deposit, a refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis. The remaining balance is due no later than 12 days before your event. Prices are also subject to adjustment after 3 months from the date of your initial enquiry, should any new developments arise. We always communicate any changes clearly and in advance.
